What is a certified estimate?

Blue Ribbon Legal’s certified estimate provides a lump sum for solicitor’s professional fees, barrister’s fees and disbursements. Professional fees include a breakdown by fee-earner category and the number of hours worked.

The estimate does not detail specific charges for each item of work – if you require this level of detail, you need an itemised bill.

A lump sum estimate can be prepared for initial or updated disclosure to a client, settlement negotiations, mediation or informal settlement conference, or hearing.

Blue Ribbon Legal can provide an updated estimate if circumstances change as a matter progresses.
